Coronado Music and Arts Foundation (CMAF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that presents an annual Coronado Music Festival at the Coronado Ferry Landing. The festival is free, family-friendly, and celebrates all genres of live music and art for the communities of Coronado and San Diego to enjoy.
OUR PURPOSE:
CMAF primary goal is to showcase a free annual music and art festival in addition to continuing to offer free art programs through out the year. Embracing our motto "Bridging the Cultural Arts Experience" at every turn. You can Help! The CMF organizing committee would like to offer you the opportunity to be a sponsor of this exciting movement. Your support will make a difference! Volunteer opportunities also available. EVENT ORIGINS: The Coronado Music Festival’s origins derived from the monthly open mic events held at Emerald C Gallery. The support and enthusiasm for the open mic events sparked the idea to create an annual music festival in Coronado . The cofounders of the festival are Coronado residents, Penny Rothschild, the owner of Emerald C Gallery and Jennifer Franks, a mother, military wife, and international author, and musician. |
